ORACLE Program bringing positive change

The Opioid Response as County Law Enforcement (O.R.A.C.L.E.) Program developed by Sheriff Juan Figueroa’s agency has been recognized as one of the most innovative rural justice programs in the United States receiving recognition from the Rural Justice Collaborative and the National Center for State Courts as well as a Sheriff’s Innovative Program Award from the NY State Sheriffs’ Institute.

The program addresses addiction with treatment, not incarceration.
